M.Sc. in Electronic Systems Engineering (MISE)

Master’s Structure

The Electronics Engineering Department (IE) is an international reference in teaching and research that has decades-long experience forming engineers in the areas of telecommunications and electronics. In this Official Masters Degree in Electronics Systems Engineering we have made a huge effort to create a study curriculum that fits the level required for engineers from the industry, but with sufficient flexibility to be able to adapt to the professional preferences of the students.

The Master's covers 60 ECTS divided in a common base with 18 ECTS on compulsory subjects, 15 ECTS for a specialization path, 12 ECTS chosen between subjects from other paths, and a Master Thesis (15 ECTS). The courses language is Spanish, however, those students with difficulties in this langage will be offered support in English (B2 level required).

Although conducting mandatory internships are not contemplated in this Master, but it provides that they can be made optional by students for the purposes of the Final Master Thesis.

Master Thesis

During the development of the Master Thesis (TFM in spanish), the student will obtain a global vision of the professional or researching methodologies in the field of electronics systems. The TFM can be developed within any research group from the Department or in the industry or any research center. Those students which are interested in continuing their studies towards a PhD may choose their topic and their supervisor during this period.
