During the 40th WOCSDICE - 13th EXMATEC conference celebrated in Aveiro, Portugal, between the 6th and 10th of June, 2016, ISOM PhD student Alejandro Kurtz was given the "Award Sociedade Portuguesa de Física" for his presentation entitled "Deep level spectroscopy in metal-insulator-semiconductor structures". The comitee considered not only the student's presentation during the conference, but his CV and ability answering the questions that were asked following the talk.
