Two positions for experimental research in the exciting field of graphene are offered, on the following topics:  

1. CVD growth and characterization of graphene

2. Graphene-based energy storage devices

The work will be done in the clean-room and other facilities of the ISOM-UPM (www.isomgraphene.es), within the PhD Program Electron Systems Engineering held by the Dep. Ingeniería Electrónica (www.die.upm.es), at the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in physics, materials science, engineering or similar by next July 2013.

• Ability to work independently when planning and carrying out complicated tasks, combined with a team-work attitude.

• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
