DIE professor Marisa López Vallejo has been selected to be part of the group of ten experts that constitutes the PERTE Chip expert committee.
This advisory body joins the PERTE governance to provide information and strategic guidance to the Spanish Commissioner and contribute to maximizing the impact of the project in four axes: conception, design, chip production, and dynamization of the manufacturing of ICT electronic products. One year after the approval of the plan and the launch of the PERTE Chip Special Commissioner —as a unit with a technical and managerial profile responsible for promoting the four lines of work of the project led by Jaime Martorell— progress is beginning to be seen in strengthening the microelectronics and semiconductor ecosystem in Spain, according to Administration sources.
