The Speech Technologies Thematic Network has awarded the Professional Career Award to our colleague José Manuel Pardo Muñoz for his contributions to Speech Technology in Spain. José Manuel Pardo has had a long and successful professional and research career in this field, as a Full Professor and Director of our Department, and also as Director of the Speech Technology and Machine Learning Group. The award will be presented on November 14 at the annual assembly of the Speech Technologies Thematic Network (http://iberspeech2022.ugr.es/).
