Biomedical Imaging Technologies (BIT-UPM) is a research group recognized by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid [9], which has been working on the acquisition and analysis of biomedical images since 2000.
Since 2008, the group is also part of CIBER-BBN [10]: the Biomedical Research Networking Center in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine. It is also associated to the Moncloa Campus of International Excellence [11].
Vision: Contribute to improve health care delivery through advances in biomedical imaging technologies.
Mission: The application of technological solutions to actual clinical or biological problems, especially with the aim of early diagnosis and treatment, including:
