Admission and Registration 2026-2027

Pre-registration

Pre-registration can be done electronically, by accessing the UPM Postgraduate Portal.

Registration

The registration process consists of several steps described below:

  1. At the end of July, the student will be informed in detail of the registration procedure by the Master’s Coordinator.
  2. The student, on his or her own or in consultation with the MUISE coordinator, will choose the subjects for which he or she wishes to enroll.
  3. Registration will be carried out electronically or at the E.T.S.I. secretariat. Telecommunication: the payment letter will be generated and the payment will be made at the bank.

To complete the 45 ECTS corresponding to the subjects, it is necessary to take all the mandatory and three optional subjects. The subjects that will be offered as electives are:

  • Microelectronics
  • Advanced Digital Architectures
  • Advanced Embedded Systems
  • Intelligence in Electronic Systems

The minimum number of credits to enroll in a semester is 12 ECTS in accordance with UPM regulations.

Permanence Rules

It is established that the student must pass at least subjects with a total load of 6 ECTS in the first year in which they enroll. This requirement is established in coherence with the Permanence Standards approved at the UPM.
